How does Physical Therapy work?

You do NOT need a doctor’s prescription to see a Physical Therapist!

If you are having joint pain, muscle pain, trouble with a movement, joint swelling, headaches etc...You may benefit from a physical therapy evaluation.

Schedule an Evaluation with Shelby

  • A 60 minute Evaluation includes a physical exam, posture & movement screening, testing for muscle weakness

  • Determine which areas of the body need work or attention

  • Set a plan, determine whether your body is in need of the help of a physical therapist, a personal trainer or self-care work

You may receive all the information you need from a single physical therapy evaluation.

Complete follow up sessions if needed

  • 30 or 60 minute customized sessions geared to further address; pain, muscle overcompensation, inflammation, poor movement patterns

  • Exercises to target muscle imbalances, tightness and/or weakness

  • Manual therapy techniques to address pain, swelling and muscle dysfunction
