In 2010 I decided to leave my job as an IT Director to start my journey doing what I really love: helping other people find their potential. I was bored in the corporate world because I was not making a difference in anyone’s life. I was always an active, outdoors kind of guy. As former Marine, competition, discipline and finding new challenges was part of my makeup. I started competing in Jiu-Jitsu tournaments in 2008 and loved every part of that challenge. After a few injuries, I decided to try something new to rehab my shoulder and that is when I found CrossFit. I immediately fell in love with it. In 2011, I received my first CF LV1 Certification and began coaching at CrossFit Tribe, eventually becoming co-owner at TRIBE. This opportunity has allowed me to make small impacts in people’s lives. In 2013, I became a USAW Coach and competed a few meets in was just to be NLI years ago. In 2014, I fell in love with the sport of Powerlifting and competed in a few meets in the past 3 years, placing 1st at the 2016 California State Games, 1st at the 2017 California State Championships and 3rd at that 2017 California State Games. I am currently ranked 11th in the California. I recently became a USAPL Coach and founder of TRIBE Powerlifting Club, I am looking forward to training various athletes and competing in 2018.
