Biography
After spending my last four years in dance, I learned so much about myself and my body. I think the thing that thrilled me most about dance was the community. I felt accepted and free in the dance room, and it really helped me grow as a person and as an athlete. Dance taught me to be disciplined and made me realize how powerful I could be when I put my head down and started working on my goals.
When the pandemic hit, it marked the end of my high school dancing days. It hurt a lot being cut off from the people that I have grown so close to the past few years so suddenly. While training in solidarity during the pandemic, I really missed working out in a group atmosphere. Upon research, I came across CrossFit Tribe. I am so glad I did! During my first few weeks in Tribe, I instantly felt accepted and part of the family. I really love the community that has been built by the wonderful coaches here at Tribe. Although my time at Tribe has been short, it has meant the world to me. I feel really blessed to instantly feel a part of a new family after being separated from my dance family.
Every day I spend at Tribe brings across a new challenge or obstacle to overcome. There are so many CrossFit centric goals that I am taking head on that make me excited to wake up every morning. I’m very thrilled to have the opportunity to learn and grow with the people at Tribe every day, and more than honored to be a part of the Tribe family.
