My love for movement and fitness began during my undergraduate experience at San Francisco State University. At the time, I used to go to the gym as a haven from environmental stressors. Searching for a sense of belonging, I was welcomed by a campus CrossFit club, Gator Strong, that changed my life and ultimately kept me in school. The influence of that club instilled a passion in me for understanding the human body, strength & conditioning, and injury prevention.
Fast forward a few years, I now have a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology and am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Chiropractic with an emphasis in Sports Medicine. Same passion, just bigger goals. I’ve been an avid weightlifter with Tribe Barbell Club since 2020, and since then have grown a continuous appreciation and love for Olympic weightlifting. You can find me on the platforms coaching, lifting, or sometimes just hanging out because I like being there so much. At the end of the day, I know the importance of having someone lead the way through guidance and knowledge, and I strive to be that person for my athletes and others. Let’s move with intention, quality technique, but most importantly let’s have fun.
